Druk Path
Trek

The Druk Path Trek winds through stunning rhododendron forests, high-altitude yak pastures, and serene lakes inhabited by snowy mountain trouts. Renowned as one of Bhutan’s premier short treks, it traces an ancient trade route connecting Paro and Thimphu valleys. Setting off, you’ll traverse apple orchards and pine woods, passing the historic ruins of Jele Dzong, perched on a lofty ridge with panoramic vistas of Mount Jumolhari. Over the next four days, the journey ascends above the tree line, navigating several mountain passes, including the Phume La at 4210m. Along the way, you’ll encounter crystal-clear mountain lakes, yak herder encampments, and sweeping vistas of the Himalayas along the Bhutan-Tibet border, featuring Mount Jumolhari, Jichu Drake, and Gangkar Puensum.
