Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 (Wednesday, 13th March 2024)
Delhi – Paro – Taktshang
– Arrival at Paro International Airport (Flight KB203 Drukair).
– Pick-up and breakfast followed by visits to Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang.
– Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 2 (Thursday, 14th March 2024)
Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike
– Hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktshang).
– Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 3 (Friday, 15th March 2024)
Paro – Trashigang (Optional Domestic Flight)
– Early morning flight to Yonphula (Flight KB030) and transfer to Trashigang.
– Explore local markets and visit Trashiyangtse for Gom Kora and Chörten Kora.
– Overnight stay in Trashigang.

Day 4 (Saturday, 16th March 2024)
Trashigang – Radhi
– Discover Bhutan’s rice bowl with terraced fields and traditional hand looms in Radhi.
– Overnight in a local homestay.

Day 5 (Sunday, 17th March 2024)
Radhi – Merak Village Tour
– Off-road adventure to Merak, home of the Brokpa highlanders.
– Overnight in Radhi Homestay.

Day 6 (Monday, 18th March 2024)
Radhi – Ranjung – Trashigang (Goma Kora Tshechu)
– Participate in the Lhab Sang ritual, visit a Bhutanese astrologist, and attend a tea ceremony with monks.
– Explore the Goma Kora Tsechu.
– Overnight stay at Rangjung Temple.

Day 7 (Tuesday, 19th March 2024)
Trashigang – Goma Kora Tshechu – Mongar
– Enjoy the colorful Goma Kora festival and visit Drametse Temple.
– Stop at Kori La and explore traditional villages in Mongar.
– Overnight stay in Mongar.

Day 8 (Wednesday, 20th March 2024)
Mongar – Excursion to Lhuentse and Khoma
– Scenic tour to Lhuentse Dzong and visit Khoma village for a demonstration of Kishuthara textiles.
– Overnight stay in Mongar.

Day 9 (Thursday, 21st March 2024)
Mongar – Yongtola – Jakar / Bumthang
– Journey through Thrumshingla National Park with wildlife sightings and visit Memberstho lake.
– Overnight stay in Jakar, Bumthang valley.

Day 10 (Friday, 22nd March 2024)
Jakar (Bumthang)
– Visit local villages, Tandingang in Tang valley, and explore monasteries like Thangbi and Ngang Lhakhang.
– Overnight stay in Bumthang.

Day 11 (Saturday, 23rd March 2024)
Bumthang – Trongsa – Kazhi – Wangdue Phodrang
– Explore authentic villages, Dzongs, and farmlands. Visit Trongsa Dzong and experience farm life in Kazhi.
– Overnight at a farmhouse in Wangdue or Gubjithang, Punakha.

Day 12 (Sunday, 24th March 2024)
Wangdue Phodrang – Chimi Lhakang – Punakha
– Visit Chimi Lhakang temple and Punakha Dzong.
– Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 13 (Monday, 25th March 2024)
Punakha Valley – Thimphu – Paro
– Travel through Dochula Pass to Thimphu, visiting Simtokha Dzong, Hongtsho Goemba, National Memorial Chorten, and the Golden Buddha.
– Meet a Bhutanese astrologist.
– Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 14 (Tuesday, 26th March 2024)
Paro – Departure
– Morning transfer to Paro airport for departure (Flight KB202 to Delhi).
– Farewell and end of service.
