Coaster Bus 4
BTN Nu. 9000 Per Day | 18 Persons
Coaster Bus 4 – This bus has 18 seats, including the driver and guide, with luggage stored on the rooftop. It is a non-AC, 3rd generation Toyota model, used for fewer passengers than its capacity for comfort. The buses are well-maintained, clean, and not used for public service, ensuring a hygienic environment. Large sliding windows offer excellent views and photo opportunities. The Coaster Bus 6, a newer model, comes with optional AC, though it's not needed in Bhutan due to the fresh, clean air.
3rd Generation Coaster Bus Overview
Introduced in January 1993, this generation featured a more aerodynamic design and several engine options, including the 4.2-litre 1HD-T turbocharged diesel and the 3.4-litre 3B diesel. The 4WD BB58 and a series hybrid EV model were added in 1995 and 1997, respectively. Facelifts were made in 2001 and 2007.
