Soi Yaksa
Trek

The Soi Yaksa Trek, also known as Jumolhari Trek II or the Jumolhari Loop, offers a stunning view of Mount Jumolhari from its base camp. This trek provides an opportunity to witness Mount Jumolhari and Jichu Drake without ascending to Lingzhi and high altitudes. However, caution is advised as the elevation still poses a risk of altitude sickness. The return journey from Jangothang base camp includes crossing the turquoise Tshophu lake (4380m) and Bhonte La pass (4890m) to Drukgyal Dzong. Additionally, from the Thombu La pass (4380m) on the penultimate day, the beautiful white mountain range of Kanchenjunga in Sikkim awaits, rewarding trekkers with its breathtaking views.
